Whoop the countdown to your wedding is here! Time for some bridal skincare tips…
From a hair and makeup perspective, now is the time to really knuckle down with your skin care routine to ensure that you’re looking super fabulous for the big day. I promise it will pay dividends!
Here are my favourite products that my brides love too.
Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish
One of the original ‘hot cloth cleansers’ and a modern day classic. For the price point, I don’t think you can beat it! Its won every award going and is packed with incredible ingredients… Plus it smells AMAZING! I recommend double cleansing (once to take off makeup and dirt, and a second time to actually cleanse the skin).
Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Miracle Cleanser
Another hot cloth cleanser from the incredible Aurelia. All their products are probiotic and natural. I cannot say enough good things about it. Its a little pricey, but if you can’t push the boat out for your wedding, when can you?! Once again, I recommend double cleansing.
Pixi Glow Tonic
I love, love, LOVE this toner. It uses glycolic acid to smooth and exfoliate the skin and I cannot say enough amazing things about it. It is the one product that I notice immediately if I haven’t used that day as it effortlessly removes dead skin cells. Loved by the amazing skin guru, Caroline Hirons.
Aurelia Cell Repair Night Oil
Another fan favourite from Aurelia. This night oil is INCREDIBLE. We all spent our teenage years stripping the oils from our skin in the hope that it would keep spots at bay. Spoiler alert – it probably didn’t and would have made us greasier! As we age, the natural oils our skin produces become even more important to keep it soft, supple and as wrinkle free as possible. This probiotic oil supports your skins natural oil and I found doesn’t make it feel over loaded with oil. Using a night oil does take some getting used to, but it is 100% worth it.
The Ordinary Rose Hip Seed Oil
Works in a similar way to the Aurelia night oil, but is much more budget friendly! It does smell a little odd to start with but you soon get used to it.
